Leasing a charging station is among the many services offered by Opcharge. Did you know that you do not necessarily have to own an electric charging station. With our option to lease a charging station, you have the charging station on loan and leave all responsibility to us. In the use of the charging station nothing changes at all.

You own an electric car and are looking for a charging station. You are convinced of the power of a charging station but don’t want to take full responsibility. Opcharge provides charging stations on loan which means we have full responsibility over the charging stations. This means that you do not have to make an investment for the installation and maintenance of the charging stations.
A charging station on the premises means just that little bit of extra service to customers and employees that can make all the difference. Customers visit your office and the charging station charges customers’ electric vehicles, allowing them to continue their journey without worry.
How does leasing a charging station from Opcharge work?
Leasing a charging station from Opcharge is actually quite simple. You make a request to Opcharge for a charging station and we then do a comprehensive check. During this check we look at the location where the charging station should be installed. We will also map out which type of charging station best fits the situation. Opcharge has several types of chargers. The DC charger is considered the fast charger. The AC charger is of interest when you are parked for more than 45 minutes to an hour.
- DC charger (between 20 and 900 kilowatts)
- AC charger (between 11 and 22 kilowatts)
After you have made a choice we will proceed to install the charging station. For this, outside of welcoming our skilled installers, you don’t have to make an effort. After installation, your new leased charging station is ready for use.
Unburdening
Opcharge takes care of everything. In case of any problems, we will take care of the repair.

The installation of the charging station falls within the service of Opcharge. So an investment from you is not necessary.

As mentioned above, both leasing and buying have all kinds of advantages. Opcharge therefore provides both services. Indeed, what the best option is depends completely on the situation you find yourself in as an EV driver. During our introductory visit, we provide knowledgeable advice. This advice also includes the choice of lease or purchase.
Rely on A-brand installations and maintenance
Opcharge attaches great importance to the quality of the charging stations. We supply charging stations (including smart charging) for the electric car from the well-reviewed and solid A-brands Alfen charger, Easee chager and Qube charger. Installations are also done by our qualified installers, ensuring the quality of the charging stations.

Costs and Rates
So what are the costs of leasing a public charge point or a company charge point? There are none at all. Leasing a public fixed-cable charging station or your own on-site charging station is completely free of charge. You also avoid private power costs with this. This makes investing in a greener future via your own fixed-cable charging station very accessible. When requesting public charging stations, Opcharge conducts a thorough check. If our check reveals that the power connection at the chosen location does not meet the requirements, the power connection must be reinforced. These costs will be charged, however.
For the consumption of the green electricity, Opcharge applies power tariffs per kWh. However, these electricity rates vary by municipality. In addition, the rates fluctuate so we cannot promise you fixed costs. You can find the current fee schedule for each municipality here.
