A public electric car charging station may be used by several electric drivers. This is unlike a private charging station that you place on private property. Public charging stations are often seen in public parking lots or an alternative location with many electric vehicles. However, you may also install a public charging station in a residential area. How does an application work?
1. Apply for a charging station at Opcharge
Using the form on our website, you can apply for an electric charging station. We examine your request carefully and take action
2. Location determination
The applicant for the electric charging point makes a proposal for the exact location. We will then check whether this location meets the requirements set by the relevant municipality. Does it meet the requirements? Then we proceed to the next step.
3. Choose a type of charger
OpchargeE has several types of chargers; the standard charger and the fast charger. You choose a type of charger depending on your situation. Fast charger – DC Charger – has between 20 and 900 kilowatts, where the standard charger – AC Charger – consumes between 11 and 22 kilowatts.
4. Installation
The location and type of charger have been determined. Our installers can now proceed with the realization of the electric charge point. In this you are completely relieved. The only thing we ask of you is to open the door for our installers.
5. Maintenance
Your electric charge point has been installed. Congratulations! Do you have a public charge point or business charge point? Maintenance after installation remains the responsibility of Opcharge. We ensure that your completed electric charge point maintains its quality. Also long after installation.

We only supply charging stations (including smart charging) from the well-regarded A-brands Qube charger, Alfen charger and Easee charger. No financing required
Apply for a (public) charging station without investment? It sounds too good to be true but it is possible at Opcharge. We do not charge you for the installation and maintenance of our charging stations. Ideal right? At Opcharge you only pay per kWh consumed. It does not matter from which municipality you purchase electricity. The electricity rates per kWh charged by Opcharge are the same for each charge point.
