Tilburg introduces charging lanterns: streetlights that also serve as charging points for electric cars. This is how we make the city smarter, greener and future-proof.
Together with the municipality of Tilburg, Opcharge has chosen charging lanterns: street lights with a built-in charging function for electric cars. This way we kill two birds with one stone: lighting and charging.
This joint choice was made because it:
provides smart use of space, no need to place additional poles or obstacles in the street;
provides more charging options so that residents and visitors have easier access to public charging stations;
is sustainable, a step toward a cleaner, greener city.
