Business Data Analyst

Breda / Rotterdam
32-40

Are you a data professional who looks beyond the data itself? Someone who not only provides analyses but also understands what the business wants to achieve with them? Then we’re looking for you.

About Opcharge

Opcharge is a fast-growing company that develops smart charging solutions for municipalities and businesses. From day one, we have been fully committed to sustainable mobility. Our ambition is clear: to accelerate the energy transition by rolling out smart and future-proof charging infrastructure.

We’re in a phase where no two days are the same. That means plenty of room for initiative, short lines of communication, and the chance to make a real impact. We believe in ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement. By the end of 2026, we’ll take the next step with a new office in the heart of Rotterdam—a milestone that aligns with our growth ambitions.

The Position

Opcharge is growing rapidly, and data plays a central role in that growth. As a Business Data Analyst, you’ll be part of the Data & IT department and will collaborate daily with the business and engineering teams. You’ll ensure that data from our warehouse isn’t left unused, but is transformed into insights that really matter—from operational improvements to strategic decisions at the management team level.

Your responsibilities include:

  • You analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
  • You will collaborate effectively with business and technical teams to translate insights into concrete actions
  • You will develop and improve reports and dashboards that make data accessible
  • You will build predictive models that inform strategic decisions regarding the expansion of our charging station portfolio
  • You design and build robust data structures in Snowflake

What do you bring to the table?

  • You have 1 to 5 years of work experience in the field of data
  • You’ll work on a project basis and take ownership of progress and results
  • You are proficient in SQL and have experience with BI tools such as Power BI. Knowledge of Python is a plus.
  • You’re a strong presenter and know how to identify the business needs behind the data by asking the right questions
  • You reflect on your work and use feedback to continuously improve your analyses and approach

Terms of Employment

What do we offer?

  • Salary between €4,200 and €5,000 gross per month for a 40-hour workweek
  • A position for 32 to 40 hours per week
  • Flexible work arrangements are possible, with 3 days a week in the office
  • Work in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial organization that makes a real impact
  • Plenty of room for initiative and process improvement
  • An informal and engaging work environment

Does this sound like you? Send your application to Opcharge and help build the sustainable charging infrastructure of tomorrow.
