The function: what does it entail?

As Account Manager within public domain you are responsible for building and maintaining lasting relationships with our customers.
With your openness and customer-friendliness you will guide our customers (municipality and other agencies) and ensure a professional (contractual) settlement and the necessary aftercare, making sure that we from Opcharge have done everything to help the customer.

For our growing team we are looking for an Account Manager.
As Account Manager you are the contact person for our customers and you will ensure a healthy relationship from which new opportunities can arise.

Responsibilities and tasks: what will you do?

Currently, the number of electric cars, and with it the energy transition, is growing enormously.
To take a leading role in this movement, our ambition is to install as many new charging stations as possible.
The influx of new customers (municipalities) is continuous.
To properly accommodate this growth, we are looking for Account Managers who will focus on a specific customer group and build on that.
In this role, as an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing our clients within the public domain.

Although as Account Manager you are generally the first point of contact for relations, we mainly work together.
Together, by realizing charging stations, we ensure that municipalities become a little greener.
The core responsibilities summarized:

  • Acquire, build and maintain a network of new municipalities.
  • Contract management: drafting contracts, processing feedback from our clients and ensuring that contracts are actually signed.
  • Relationship management: proactively maintain and build all ongoing relationships to ensure that our customers feel served throughout the process.

Qualifications and competencies: what do we expect from you?

Personal contact is not only central in the relationships with our clients, but also internally within our team.

We are looking for the following:

Qualifications:

  • HBO working and thinking level, preferably a commercial and/or technical and/or change management background
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience, preferably in a commercial (consulting) role
  • You have a good command of the Dutch language, English is a plus

Competencies:

  • Commercial: constantly looks for new opportunities.
    Draws in new customers and does not rest until the contract is signed
  • Communicative: listens sincerely and asks through to hear what the client really needs and communicates about it in a pleasant and professional manner, both verbally and in writing
  • Planning and organizing: sets the right priorities and knows how to interact with multiple (potential) customers at the same time and proactively support them in the relationship process
  • Relationship management: maintains contact in a friendly, open and customer-oriented manner throughout the relationship process, identifies new business and also provides desired aftercare where necessary
  • Enterprising: works independently; makes it happen!
